"Act 6"

A group of guys are playing basketball. The star of the team, slam dunks and then high-fives his teammates. Naru runs over and yells "Hurry!" to a group of friends and Usagi. One friend has a camera and immediately starts taking pictures of him. The girls scream and cheer over the guy, saying how cool he is. Usagi takes the camera and looks at the guy from the lens. Suddenly the girls leave, leaving Usagi behind. "Just a minute! Wait for me!" cries Usagi, running after them. Usagi rounds the corner and barely missed a basketball being thrown at her. Usagi looks around and sees three basketball punks. "What?" asks Usagi.

The guys bully her, throwing the basketball at the wall in fron of her. Then, as ine of the guy aims for Usagi's head, Usagi squeezes her eyes shut, waiting for impact. But it never comes. Usagi looks up and sees a tall girl in brown school clothes. The girl throws the ball back, knocking down one of the punks. The bully goes up to the girl, puts his hand on her, and she beats him to the ground. The other two boys rush to the first guy's aid, when they two are deftly beat up. The three guys run away. Usagi runs up to the girl, crying, "Awesome! Thank you! Umm..." The girl looks at Usagi and then walks away. "She's so cool..." says Usagi, "But I wonder who she is..."

In the Dark Kingdom, Nephlite is giving his excuses to Queen Beryl. He says he'll try again but then Queen Beryl tells him that Jadeite has already proceeded with another plan. Nephlite isn't very happy. Meanwhile, Jadiete is proceeding with his plan, in some dark dimension with roman-type sculptures and columns.

Meanwhile, Usagi, Naru and the other two girls are eating lunch. Suddenly, Usagi notices the girl in brown clothes walking by. "What? That girl... why?" murmers Usagi. "What? She has on a different uniform." says Naru. One of the girls goes on about how she's a transfer student and that she gets into a lot of trouble for fighting.

The girl walks onto the roof and then looks over at Ami, who is eating and reading a book. They nod to each other and then the girl sits down on the other side of the roof and unpacks her lunch.

Later, everybody's leaving class when people notice the girl walking their way. They all stare and move out of her way, as if they're afraid they'll get beaten up.

Later, the girl is staring at a very tall oak tree. Someone pats her on the shoulder and turns around. It's Usagi.>br> "You saved my life earlier, really, thank you!" Usagi says as they're walking.
"Ah, it was nothing." the girl says looking at Usagi.
"What?" asks Usagi, smiling.
The girls continue talking and then finally Usagi says, "I'm Tsukino Usagi."
"Usagi? Eh... I'm Kino Makato."
"Then... Mako-chan!" Usagi says.
"Eh?" says Makoto, surprised.

Later, Usagi runs through shops in the mall with Makoto, trying on various shows and hats etc. (one of the stores looks amazingly like Claire's.. I wonder if they're international?) Anyway, the girls are having great fun and then stop to eat some kind of cookie-looking desert.

At Rei's temple, Usagi comes up and introduces Rei to Makoto.
"This is Mako-chan. She's awesome." She turn to Makoto, "This is my friend Rei-chan."
"Nice to meet you." says Makoto.
"Likewise." says Rei, looking at Makoto oddly. Luna seems to sense something as well.
"Is something wrong?" Makoto asks.
"Sorry." says Rei.
"Well, it's getting late. I'd better go. Thanks for today." Makoto says to Usagi.
"Sure. Bye then." says Usagi.
"Rei-chan! I felt something." Says Luna from behind Rei.
"Could it be.. she's a senshi?" wonders Rei.
"No Way! Mako-chan is?!" exclaims Usagi.

At the basket ball court in the park a bunch of girls are cheering for Takeru (the star basketball player). Mako-chan watches from a distance, leaning up against a tree. Takeru does a jump shot, and suddenly glows red. All the girls watching him glow red, and freeze for a split second. The glowing stops, and everyone looks a bit surprised, and then continue to cheer for him. Mako-chan looks around, looking for the source of the disturbance. The three boys from the other day watch her from the bushes, plotting her demise.

At school, Naru and her friends are sighing over pictures taken of Takeru playing basketball. Ms. Haruna watches the girls and then grabs all of the photos.
"This is the kind of thing you have to save for break." She says. Ms. Haruna glances down at the pictures and then says, "Oh, he’s cute! What do you all think?" She shows the pictures to the class, who all sigh and scream. Usagi notices that Mako-chan is in one of the pictures. Ms. Haruna makes everyone get back to work. Usagi then wonders if Mako-chan likes Takeru.

Mako-chan leans back against a tree.
"Me? Like that high schooler? Not a chance!" says Mako-chan with a smile.
"But Mako-chan, your face looked so sad when you watched that Takeru guy." Usagi says.
"Huh?" Mako-chan says, no long smiling.
Usagi walks over to her with a smile.
"Well, I’m pretty sharp about these kind of things. I guess you could say I’m in the same situation with someone else. If there’s anything I can do to help…."
Usagi tries to comfort Mako-chan, but Mako-chan pushs her away, and walks away.
"You’re wrong. I’m just interested in basketball. I mean, do I really look like the type?"
"Well, you are masculine, but…."
"Aren’t I? See, it just wouldn’t fit me at all."
Mako-chan walks away.
"I don’t agree…." Usagi says.
"Wait!" She yells, running after Mako-chan.

Meanwhile, Takeru dribbles the basketball in an empty park.

At her apartment building, Mako-chan finds a letter in her mailbox. Her eyes widen when she sees the return address. Mako-chan sits at her kitchen table, reading the letter. The letter says, 'I’ve been interested in you for a long time. If you’d like, please meet me tomorrow at 10. I’ll be waiting at the place near the fountain. Takeru.' Mako-chan smiles a little. "It just doesn’t fit my personality." She says to herself. Luna watches her from the window. Mako-chan stands in her kitchen, and begins to make cookies.

In the park, Takeru drops the ball and smiles, and a crowd of girls walk towards him like zombies. Naru is one of the girls. Takeru raises his arms, and the girls keep walking towards him.

Mako-chan is waiting at a fountain for Takeru. She stands there, holding a colored bag.

At the senshi hideout, Usagi is eating a cracker.
"I’m sure that’s it." She says.
"We can’t just decide for ourselves with no proof." Ami says.
"We can’t be sure she’s a senshi until Luna’s crescent moon really reacts." Rei says.
"Not that!" Usagi stands up. "I’m talking about Mako-chan's crush on that guy."
"What? That’s what you’re talking about?" Rei asks.
Usagi runs over to her.
"It’s a big thing!" She says.
"It’s a waste of time to have crushes on boys." Rei says, sitting down.
"What? Rei-chan you’ve never fallen in love with a boy?" Usagi asks, surprised.
"No, I haven’t." Rei says, "And anyway, she said herself that she’s not that type of person."
Usagi pouts.
"However," Ami says, "She was trying to hide her lunch, but I saw it, and it was home-made, and very cute. It was really feminine."
"I see... So, maybe I’m right…’ Usagi says.

Meanwhile, Mako-chan is still waiting. She waits and waits the entire day, as people pass by, until finally it starts to rain. But she still waits, getting soaked. Then she hears a voice. "Sorry to keep you waiting." She looks up, and it’s the three boys she had saved Usagi from. "You really thought he’d come? You really don’t know what you’re like, do you?" They laugh at her. Her bag falls to the ground, and the cookies spill out. Luna watches from behind a post.

Usagi hits the table. "That’s horrible! How could they do that!?" She cries into the cellphone.

Usagi, Ami and Rei run to the fountain and find Mako-chan, soaking wet, siting down.
"Mako-chan!" Usagi cries.
She runs over and takes Mako-chan’s hand. Ami and Rei follow her.
"You know…I got my heart broken at my old school. So, even though I knew it doesn’t fit me at all…Takeru looked a little like my sempai, so…"
She picks up the bag of cookies.
"Why do I always do this?"
She dumps the bag into the trash can next to her. She stands up.
"It just doesn’t suit me at all." She starts to walk off.
Usagi calls, "Mako-chan! I’m sorry that I said those things about your being manly! You’re a girl, Mako-chan, it’s not unsuitable at all!"
But Mako-chan just waves a hand to them and leaves. Then she turns back to Ami and Rei, whipping out her magic cell phone. "Ami-chan, Rei-chan! Don’t stop me, ok? I know they’re not youma, but I…!"
Ami smiles.
"I’m not going to stop you." She says, pulling out her phone.
"I hate boys that trick girls worst of all." Rei says, taking her phone out as well.

The three boys are playing basketball in the park. The ball rolls away. They go to retrieve it, and find the ball stopped by a foot. They look up to see Usagi, Rei and Ami standing there, transformed into basketball playing sportsgirls. The three of them glare at the boys, who walk over to them. "Play us." Usagi says. "If you’ve got the guts." "Sounds like fun." The boys say.

Soaking wet, Mako-chan makes her way back to her apartment. In the lobby, she glances at her empty mailbox. A tear trickles down her cheek. She looks over to see Takeru standing there. She stares at him.
"You were the only one who didn’t come." He explains, with a smile. "So I came to get you. Come with me." He puts out his hand, and after a moment she takes it, everything darkening.

When Mako-chan opens her eyes, she is in a place filled with candles and marble statues, and all the girls are statues. Takeru walks amongst them, laughing.
"Foolish women. Working yourselves up over a foolish crush. I’ll take all that energy." When he goes to touch Mako-chan, she grabs his wrist, and pulls it down. He looks at her, shocked.
"Why didn’t my spell work on you?"
She just stares at him.
"You tricked them. All of these girls, they all liked you."
"So did you." He retorts.
"It doesn’t matter about me. But you can’t play around with the feelings of all of these girls." Mako-chan says.
He smiles. "I made sure they enjoyed it."
"Shut up!" Mako-chan says and punches him in the face. He falls to the ground. The black and white world fades away, and all the girls are in the park, conscious again.
"Huh? What were we doing here?" Naru wonders.

Meanwhile, Usagi, Ami and Rei are playing basketball with the three boys. They win, and the boys fall to ground exhausted. The girls walk over to them. "Done so soon?" They ask, tauntingly. The boys whisper to each other that they have to beat them. They get up, and begin to play another game. The boys grab Ami and Rei to try to keep them from playing, but they elbow the boys and get free. Usagi dribbles the ball. When the boy tries to stop her from shooting, Ami and Rei run in front of her, running away just as she starts running to make her shot. She jumps, soars through the air, and kicks off on the boys head, doing a slam dunk. The boys fall to the ground, moaning, "They’re so tough…"
The three girls say ‘We did it!’ together.

Meanwhile, Mako-chan backs away from Takeru. "How dare you! I won’t let you get away!" He pulls off his hat, and turns into a youma. The real Takeru falls the ground. Mako-chan backs up more, staring at the youma. The real Takeru screams like a girl, and the youma turns to him. Mako-chan rushes over to it and pushes it away, but it throws her to the ground, and starts to strangle her. Mako-chan reaches out her hand to Takeru.

"Help me…" She says. Mako-chan struggles, and reaches out to him. But Takeru screams again and scrambles away. The wrold fades into Mako-chan's memories, and she stands there, watching herself when she was young. Young Mako sits on the floor crying. Her mother and father appear, only to walk away. "Mom, Dad…don’t go!" cries little Mako.
A teenage boy is in front of her, but he walks away as Mako-chan cries for him not to go.

"Don’t go!" She cries. One by one students, adults, various people appear, only to walk away. Mako-chan stands up.
"In the end, I’m always alone."
"Mako-chan!" says a voice. She looks over.
Sailor Moon appears out of the mist.
"You’re not alone." Sailor Moon takes her hand, and a transformation bracelet appears on her wrist.
"Transform."
Mako-chan looks from her wrist to Sailor Moon, and nods.

"Jupiter Power, Make up!"
She transforms.
"I’m the senshi of strength and courage, Sailor Jupiter! In the name of Jupiter, I’ll punish you!"

"Supreme Thunder!"
The youma explodes.
Mako-chan looks down at herself.
"I…."
Sailor Moon walks over, much like she did in Mako-chan's dream. Jupiter looks at her.

"Usagi?" She asks. Sailor Moon nods.
"Mako-chan, you and I were teammates."
Mars walks over.
"The reason we didn’t know at first was because you were half caught in the youma’s spell, but you won’t be tricked by men any longer."
Mercury walks up. "We’re senshi, each with a different power." She says. "And you’re one of us."
"I see." Jupiter says. "So that’s what it was. I always had the feeling that I had to go. But it wasn’t because I broke my heart, it was to meet my teammates."

They smile and walk over to her, all standing in a line.
"The four senshi have been reunited! Now let’s find the princess and the Legendary Silver Crystal!" Luna says.

"First thing is Sailor V." Mars says.
"It’ll be ok." Sailor Moon says, drawing them all together.
"Now that we’ve got all four of us, we can do anything!" She tells them. "Let’s go!" She jumps with her fist in the air, but none of the others follow suit.
"Come on guys, don’t make me do it alone!" she says, embarrassed. They all laugh. Meanwhile, a general with longish grey hair stands listening.
"Sailor V, huh? Sounds interesting." He flips his cape and walks off.
